Installment 1: The N.O. F.E.A.R. Life N is for Never Let Anyone Tell

Installment One: Living the N.O. F.E.A.R. Life blog series. I will post a new installment each month through August when the 2017 NO FEAR Ladies Conference will take place.

N.O. F.E.A.R. is an acronym for a life concept that I created back in August 2014, just before my first NO FEAR Ladies Conference and one I try my best to live by.

The N in N.O. F.E.A.R. stands for "Never let anyone tell you what you cannot do."

"Other people's opinion of you does not have to become your reality"- Les Brown.

I agree wholeheartedly with renowned motivational speaker Les Brown on this one.

Too many women are hindered in life by the negative things that people said to or about them. In many cases, the hindering words were uttered during childhood sending young girls on a collision course of self-doubt and self-destruction. This happened because negative words were heard, processed and internalized as truth by the young girl.

When the girl became a woman, she still could not shake those words that altered the positivity she felt about herself. Therefore even in adulthood, she never feels good enough, valuable or worthy of the best from others in platonic and/or romantic relationships.

How does one end this train wreck? Take back your control and say the right words to yourself. Remind yourself that only you can determine what you can or cannot do.

Another person's inability to see your potential for good or great has no bearing on whether or not you can be good or great at something.

Never give another person the final say in your life's success. Instead, let all the words of the naysayers provide fuel to your success fire.

Once you realize who you really are and speak the right words to combat the negative words that took root in your heart, mind and spirit, you will be unstoppable.

So remember...Never let anyone tell you what you cannot do.
